Art
Art, is most basically the way that you express yourself. Everybody should have an artform, it's a really good way to let your feelings out. It really does mean the world to most people, because what would life be like with no way of escaping. When most people think of artforms they think of the classic ones: dance, acting, singing etc. but there really is a lot more. I don't really think I have one artform that I stick to all of the time, but if I did it would probaly be writing. I've seen other people do all kinds of different things, some times wierd or crazy, all in the name of self expression. I would consider math some people's artform, because it's what they do to help them express themselves. a lot of people might think "There's no self expression in math!", but that's not the truth. There are so many correct ways to go about getting the correct answer, and so many answeres that can be correct, it's amazing. What is your definition of art?

I agree, I like the idea of math as art. What about the idea of science as art. I've seen many a gel go dry and form a really cool pattern--leave it to a scientist to say that!

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to go with COMPUTER Science. :c) Millions of applications in the world, many do the same thing, but none are programmed the same! That is unique and expressive! Once understood is is truly creative.
....and applications can be created that control artwork like video games, or even create artwork like Illustrator or Photoshop.
It also involves math! ;c)

Math is definitely an art form. I almost minor'd in it in undergrad. How some of my classmates approached and solved a problem depended on their personality. Some liked a direct route and others sometimes used extra algorithms when they didn't have to.
I (rich) personally enjoy music as art
I think anything that is enriching and grows you from inside out can be viewed as art. If you can bottle Math and Science for folks your age and they'd eat it up as "art", I think you'd be a millionaire. I enjoy photography and poetry as art. Keep writing. Many blessings to you!
I believe art can be anything... of course I would say computer sceince is are (for many reasons :).. but I feel if creativity and thought is applied into anything, depending on the viewer the object (even an essay paper) can be art/
